Beware the haunts of fiends, my kith,
The heat without rest, the nights without sleep,
The twisted trees that rot beneath,
Wherein the self-deceit, and peril ever creep,
Righteous the impingement that's so cold,
Trustworthy, for mendacity keeps to unfold,
Behold the alluring sham reflection,
The inevitable mishaps within its walls,
Fallacious is the eye of perception,
Forsaken by reason in lust she falls,
Abuse of malapropism prowls at hand,
But sighs sure indulge the stand.

I came here for TROB. Meilenwald is flawless here. However Almyrkvi are a fantasric band as well. Both projects do such a fantastic job creating atmosphere, as well as writing strong songs that get stuck in your head. Fantastic split from 2 awesome projects. 4/5 ClassyMusicSnob

French Black Metal. Only now woke up to this - better late than never I guess but... I could have been listening to this for well over two years... :| A one man, Raido or Renaud, project. This is wonderfully intense & intricate. An album that every lover of BM needs to have! highly recommended!!! bmurator

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Nearly a decade after their last LP, the Chicago post-metal trio resurface with a punishing concept album set in an apocalyptic wasteland. Bandcamp New & Notable May 5, 2024

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
